Program on Legal Issues Involving DNA

October 17, 2019 @ 12:00 pm

Join us on Thursday, October 17 at noon for a brown bag lunch program on DNA issues, including the use of STRmix™ forensic software used to interpret complex multi-contributor DNA profiles, and the use of ancestral DNA in investigations. The panel consists of Professor David Foran, PhD, Michigan State University School of Criminal Justice, and Lauren Lu, Biology Technical Leader with the Michigan State Police Forensic Science Division. The event will be held in the federal courthouse jury assembly room.

The FBA would like to offer this program to attendees who are not able to make it to the Grand Rapids Federal Courthouse. Space for this remote connection is limited. If you are interested in connecting remotely, please reach out to Susan MacGregor at FBA.Lunch.Remote.RSVP@Kitch.com. She will provide instructions for the remote connection.

If you would like to order a brown bag lunch for $10.00 please contact Melissa Rabidoux at Melissa_Rabidoux@fd.org by the close of business on Friday, October 11, 2019.

We hope you can join us!
