For over 30 years, the State of Michigan has been a beacon of civic educational light with respect to High School Mock Trial.
Participating in decades of state and national competitions, Michigan is one of the premier programs in the National High School Mock Trial circuit.
Michigan has risen to the Top 10 ranks in the nation on numerous occasions. It has taken 2nd place at least 3 times and was the national champion in 1996.
For the first time ever, Michigan will host the High School National Championship, which will take place from May 4-7 in Kalamazoo Michigan.
The Michigan Center for Civic Education (MCCE) enthusiastically invites you to participate in the Michigan state tournaments that will lead up to the National Championship in May.
Understandably, tournaments this year will be held virtually. Please keep in mind the following points:
MCCE is in need for volunteers to serve as presiding judges, scoring judges, and facilitators. The link to volunteer is www.miciviced.org/programs/mock-trial. Please help MCCE continue to provide meaningful civic educational opportunities to our community.
